Run a shell script instead of notification

Is it possible to config ad2pi so it runs a small shell script when a zone is faulted or system armed/disarmed etc. out of box, it supports email and various 3rd parity notifications. it will be great if it can run native shell script.

You can write a python script to do whatever you want with the provided library... you don't have to run the webapp. Examples are provided on github.
