If your panel supports alpha displays it will likely work on address 31 - these are old panels, and a lot of them do not support alpha - if they don't, it will not work with your panel

It does support alpha displays, as all of my displays are alpha-type. Is there any way I can test for compatibility before ordering? I saw in the alarm's manual that it supports a master display, at address 31, which would have control over all 8 partitions. Does that help?
It certainly meets all the criteria to work... sounds just like SE panels that are supported - I'd say give it a shot. If it doesn't work, send it back and we'll refund you.

just in case someone is looking for an answer on this, I just received my AD2USB and it works (almost) fine with my Vista 4140XMPT2. I get all the signalling and can issue commands fine.
