Thanks, we will likely post here with details on a device type for testing when it's ready.

I am very interesting in the integration as well. I am currently running the modified version that was created by the Smartthings community and it works great but would def like to try an official version which may have better updating information. Looking forward to testing things out when they are ready.

Just out of curiosity, what is modified version that is supplied by the community?

I have been looking for a version of this as well and haven't been able to find much. Its a great use case to try to incorporate everything into SmartThings.

Thanks,
Wes

I am also very interested in getting my Ademco Vista connected to SmarthThings using AD2PI, so highly appreciate if there is a native support.

Just wanted to update you guys on this! Things are still moving forward, though I'm in the middle of another product release so that's taken priority for the moment.

I'm planning to get the API buttoned up and released within the next couple of weeks. That's the first step towards SmartThings support. I've had some luck with a proof of concept using the SmartThings Hub, a light, and the AlarmDecoder. Now I just need to finalize how it's going to work and finish wiring things together. Figuring out how to make it all work without SmartThings supporting the concept of an alarm system has been interesting!

I'll update this thread as things move forward and likely pull a few of you in as early testers when I get to that point.

Feel free to include me in that group, Scott. I've had one of the network appliances for quite some time now and am fairly heavily invested in ST, as well. Would love to see a more seamless integration than I've got now.

Thanks!

I'm in the same boat - I'm really looking forward to a more reliable and simple integration with Smartthings than the kluge I'm currently dealing with!

I have my smartthings coming this week so this is very exciting. I bought an ad2usb vs an ad2pi for flexibility in case I didn't stay with the PI but was starting to regret it as the current smartthings solution looks tied to the ad2pi setup. A direct connection and not dancing through those hoops would be awesome.
Would be glad to help test if it makes sense.

I forgot to mention - I'm happy to test any prototypes/alphas/betas...
