Routine Maintenance Checklist

I installed my Ademco Alarm and factory configured AD2Pi module 1 year ago. It has performed perfectly. I have a battery backup system connected to it so it has been very happy and content this past year. Thanks for a great product. My question is regarding any routine maintenance that I should perform to make sure the software and firmware is at your suggested levels or is the system auto updated ? In particular I saw the forum notes on the new firmware being released and was wondering if that update is now recommended for all existing hardware.

So if there is software updates, logging in to the webapp should notify you to update - if not, go to /update url and you can check manually

Firmware was released, you can find it on our downloads list in the Documentation - you can upload it through your settings menu in the advanced section.

If you want to stay up to date with the newest features it is always recommended to update your firmware - but we maintain backwards compatibility where we can.

In the future firmware updates will be a little more seamless as well, but at the moment that's how we do it.
