n00b here. AD2PI network appliance connected to Apex Destiny 6100 Ademco panel. After RTFM for 6100, panel supports both addressable and non-addressable keypads. When AD2PI is configured for address 31, the diagnostics page says that it can successfully send to the 6100, but receive times out. I have not been able to confirm the ability to send as the Keypad page on the webapp never gets past Loading. 6100 has three RKLCD keypads installed (professionally by previous owner), all reporting as Keypad 1. I attempted to add a keypad at address 2 by entering into programming mode, going to zone 96 (default for keypads on the 6100 according to TFM) and selecting address 2. I then changed AD2PI to address 2 and timed out on both send and receive.
I have seen other posts about some panels not sending messages in ALPHA format, but I have not been able to find any documentation elsewhere on the interweb that says whether the 6100 uses that format or not. Has anyone else out there in AD-land successfully connected to one of these panels? My sole reason to connect to the panel was so I could use sensor output as part of a SmartThings environment.
