[Feature Request] Arm Stay vs Away notification

Postby R305 » Mon Dec 26, 2016 10:09 pm

Would be good to see in the notification message whether the system was armed "Stay" or "Away." That way I don't have to pull up the Web app to know if the kids did it right when I'm at work.

Could either be done with separate custom messages for stay and away, or maybe be in the same message as a data field.

Thanks. Love the device.

The alarmdecoder library itself supports the differentiation - so it is feasible to do this in a notification - it is in our list to try and implement via notification message just like the zone message template.

Thanks for the follow-up Kevin.

On that note, I see there are some existing data fields like {zone} already in the notifications. Are there any more that aren't already used in the default messages? This would seem to be the best way.

Not yet, we haven't had anybody suggest tokens for replacement that actually apply anywhere until now.

Errr, well I guess there's a couple in the "Custom" notifications options..
