Feature request: sustained-fault notification

Postby CF86336 » Thu Jan 21, 2016 5:19 pm

Hi,

It would be nice to have a feature in which one could set up a notification for when a zone is faulted for more than a programmable length of time. For example, one of my zones is the garage door; it would be nice to be able to request a notification if the garage door is faulted for more than a selectable or user-enterable number of minutes.

Thanks,
Chip

So we kind of have this feature in the next update. There's a notification delay setting with suppression capabilities on zone fault/restore. You can set this for example 30 minutes - with suppression checked, if the zone is still faulted after 30 minutes it will send a notification, otherwise if it restored with suppression checked it will not notify you. Without suppression checked it will notify you regardless of fault/restore after 30 minutes in this example.
