email server and Alarm decoder downloader

Postby ppz1961 » Tue Oct 04, 2016 4:22 pm

Hello Everybody,
I run alarm decoder keypad V2.0.10 on a newly installed Windows 7 pro, with an ad2usb and Alarmdecoder firmware V2.2a.8.2. I have a Vista 15p alarm panel with a 4204 relay unit and 2 keyboards (one 6160). The panel is working OK. The alarm decoder keypad seems ok too (I can see the status like armed/disarmed), I can press the virtual keys to arm/disarm/program the panel).
I can see in the log when someone opens the door (REL: 12,03,01) or close it (REL:12,03,00), etc.
I have also a X10 power plug (not installed) but I need to know hot to program it (see below)

BUT

- I'm unable to define properly the emails settings. When I enter the right parameters, the app shut off spontaneously and in the log I have a smtp error. But I know my parameters are right ! I tried with my internet provider settings: failed (same story) or with my own domain name (mail.xxxxx.com) with all usual settings (25, 587, etc).
Update: I entered the administrator mode and was able to edit the mystuff.config file to add my own parameters. When I launch the app, this option (set and test email) disappeared from the app... So, now I'm unable to test or configure emails... Even I put the old config file in it.

- I purchased from this site the app to download all my panel settings (Alarm decoder downloader), but I can't retrieve ALL parameters (*56 and above) from my panel. I can retrieve the basic one (from 20 to 44), but not those specific to my needs, example the way the relays are programmed. In fact, I know the results (if a door is open in disarmed state, relay 1 is open, etc) but I want to know how it was programmed to change the behaviour of those relays. Or activate the X10 function of the power supply.
In fact, how to reach fields 56/57/58/79/80/81 ?

Any clue ?

Thank you in advance
