AD2PI fails when Encrypt ser2sock is selected

Postby smartin » Thu Jun 04, 2020 7:35 am

I have been using AD2PI on my LAN for a year WITHOUT encryption.
Now I want to start using HTTPS, so I selected "Encrypt ser2sock" in the setup.

This produces the following errors:
Device Testing
Opening device ✘ Failed to open the device: [('SSL routines', 'tls_process_server_certificate', 'certificate verify failed')]
Saving device configuration ✘ There was an error sending the command to the device.
Keypad communication (Send) ✘ There was an error sending the command to the device.
Keypad communication (Receive) ✘ There was an error sending the command to the device.

If I go back and DESELECT "Encrypt ser2sock", the device tests pass.

What should I do to get encryption to work?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
