AD2Pi for DSC and SmartThings
Posted: Mon Feb 12, 2018 3:41 pmPurchased this preconfigured for DSC. I'm able to get to the webapp and control the system. I'm able to see status in SmartThings iOS app under Smart Home Monitor. However, I have a few remaining questions on my setup:
1) how do I add more zones beyond the 8? every door/window is wired independently so I have a lot
2) how can I use SmartThings app to remotely arm/disarm? Currently I can change it in the app, but it results in nothing for the actual alarm system. For example choosing "Armed (away)" button in the app doesn't actually arm the system though the app thinks arming took place.
3) there is no documentation for what's needed in "AlarmDecoder Address Mask" or "Webapp Address Mask". Both default to "ffffffff". Is that fine?
