Honeywell 5800 Wireless Support

Hi All,
Just found this site and I need to make I understand how the AD2PI works with wireless 5800 sensors:
1. It is required to have an alarm panel.
2. The AD2PI board does NOT have any 345 MHz wireless transceiver chips on it that allow it to decode the messages from the 5800 wireless sensors directly.
3. The AD2PI gets information about these wireless sensor alerts via the panel.
Is that all correct?
The reason that I ask is that I'm about to put together an RF/PI module to decode the 315 MHz, 345 MHz, and 433 MHz messages from the various alarm sensors from Honeywell/Ademco/2GIG, DSC, and friends.
If the AD2PI already does this direct wireless decoding, then that saves me quite a bit of work.
Otherwise, I get to decide whether it's better to just buy a cheap panel to interface with AD2PI, or press onward with finishing the wireless decoder project.
Thanks,
Bob
