SmartThings status refresh

I recently updated to latest image due to the fact that when I did an update I was getting the 502 error. From the new image to getting things set up, it went relatively smooth. Due to the fact that I already had all the SmartThings setup from the past, which I tried to delete and reinstall to some level of success, I think I have a few lingering issues.

The main issue I have is that the SmartThings app is not refreshing when I check the alarmdecoder status. If I click on the refresh icon (lower right hand corner), it refreshes and shows current status. Is there a setting somewhere that controls this?

The other issue I have, and this was even in the past, is I have no idea how to set up the zones in ST. When something is open, it will report correctly in the alarmdecoder UI with a red circle showing the zone number. But when I look at my list of devices, I see "Home Security Sensor #1" through #12. Those never show open. I have wireless zones, like 32 and 33, which are my garage doors. Those show up in the alarmdecoder UI when opened, but I don't see them listed as ST devices. This never worked for me in the past, I never figured out the zone thing even before reimage.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give!

When setting up the SmartApp, I'm seeing the following error:

5:13:36 PM: error configureDeviceSubscriptions: Could not find primary device for 'null:null'.

Everything else during install seems to go fine.

Issue resolved! After installing/reinstalling Alarm Decoder and the SmartThings apps that go along with Alarm Decoder several times, I gave up for a few days.

Last night I had the brilliant idea to plug both the Alarm Decoder appliance and SmartThings hub into a different router - and everything worked. I started getting real-time notifications from my alarm in SmartThings.

It seems that my Aplifi mesh router was the problem the whole time. It must be blocking the UPNP notifications. I tried to troubleshoot and change settings in Amplifi, but to no avail. So for now, I will keep my old router plugged in and see if I can get Amplifi support to help me figure this out.
