[ST] AlarmDecoder (Service Manager) SmartApp misbehaving

Postby dyong » Mon Jun 03, 2019 6:51 pm

Recently, I noticed something strange happened to my AD2PI integration with SmartThings--changes to the alarm panel state no longer show up in SmartThings unless I manually refresh the status of the device.

When I go to the AlarmDecoder (Service Manager) SmartApp on my phone (using the classic ST app), I do not see my AD2PI listed unless I touch on "Tap to discover" (see the attached image). The AD2PI can be discovered, but pressing "Save" results in "Error saving page." Also, I am unable to remove the AlarmDecoder (Service Manager) SmartApp using both the app or the IDE.

I seem to be completely stuck in this limbo state.

Can someone shed some light on this conundrum?

Being able to remove the SmartApp and reinstall it might be a step to take, but I can't uninstall it at all. The ultimate goal is to get the AD2PI integrated with SmartThings again.

Update: I was able to get Samsung Smartthings customer support to remove the SmartApp on their end. Then, I was able to re-install the groovy app and things seem to be working again.
